The Summit at Quadra Village is a $90 million, 320-unit state-of-the-art residential and dementia care facility. A partnership between the regional health authority, two levels of local government and the school district, The Summit replaced two out-dated care facilities with a state-of-the-art long-term care building to better serve frail elderly and seniors who have dementia or other complex care needs.
Maurice was key to the success of this project by:
- leading the complex negotiations to acquire the site involving a private development firm and four government entities
- negotiating a complex, 25-year multi-party development and operating agreement
- obtaining project financing
- directing an innovative integrated design and consulting team, and construction management approach.
